What is bubble soccer? As one might expect, bubble soccer is a version of soccer that’s played in a bubble. Players wear a plastic bubble that covers their head to their thigh, leaving most of their legs and feet free to run and kick the soccer ball. Teams will be made up of 3-5 players (must be 18 and older), with 3 players playing for each team at once. There will be no goalies.

How much does it cost? The minimum cost to participate is $30 per player, which can be fundraised on this website. HOWEVER, there will be prizes awarded to top fundraising individuals as well as top fundraising teams. EACH participant must sign up one this website. PLEASE NOTE: to sign up your TEAM, please have a team captain send a list of players and a team name to daydreamsfoundation@gmail.com. Top individual fundraisers will be updated automactically. List of top fundraising teams will be updated periodically (at least daily the week of the event).

Format: Teams will be guaranteed at least two games. Teams with the best records will advance to a a single elimination bracket (number of teams advancing will depend on the number of participating teams). Tie breaker will be number of goals scored.

Schedule: Check-in will start at 9 a.m. with game play beginning at 10 a.m. We hope to have all the games wrapped up by 3 p.m.

What’s included? Each player will receive a t-shirt and lunch.

What is the Day Dreams Foundation? The Day Dreams Foundation was started in Columbia in September 2014. Our mission is to eliminate financial barriers to participating in extra curricular activities and promote healthy life styles, goal setting, academics, teamwork and respect for others. We do this by awarding scholarships for registration fees to worthy applicants. We also provide funds to purchase any needed equipment, uniforms, or other materials. In exchange, kids agree to complete service hours and give their best effort in both their activity and in the classroom.

Are donations tax deductible? YES! The Day Dreams Foundation was awarded 501(c)(3) status by the IRS in 2014, meaning all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
